A prominent Welsh businessman on his death left his entire fortune to the local Chapel, having but rarely entered it while he was alive.

The minister, when asked what he thought of the bequest, commented that it was the largest premium paid in fire insurance that he had ever known.

"Even so," he added gloomily, "the risk is so great, I doubt the premium will cover it."
